YOUTH FAIR ACHIEVEMENTS
Achievements Home Grown members receive at the fair will be posted here as the results come in.  When you find out your placings in any area at the fair please email this website immediately.  This page will be updated frequently throughout the Youth Fair week. 
Sarah Wann received BEST IN SHOW for her photography entry.  Look for her single enlargement of her sister Kathleen.  It is displayed in the front entry of the Stuart Building.
Sarah also received a TRI-COLOR for her counted cross-stitch entry.  She made it for her sister Cory for her wedding.  It is also displayed in the front entry of the Stuart Building.
Alex Adlam's hog made weight Saturday at the weigh-in at 238 pounds.  Alex's hog placed 1st in his class at the hog show on Monday.  He sold it Tuesday at auction for $1.75 per pound.
Danney Samson's photography entry was considered for BEST-IN-SHOW.  It is a picture of her friend standing in front of the manatee statue at the zoo.
Josh Adlam's hog made weight Saturday at the weigh-in at 245 pounds.  Josh's hog placed third in his class at the hog show on Monday.  He sold it Tuesday at auction for $1.75 per pound.
Rebekah Sudlow, showing Precious Emerald, won second place in the grooming and conditioning class at the horse show on Saturday.
Kayla Holler's educational display was considered for BEST-IN-SHOW.  Check it out in the Stuart Building.
Kimberly Pridgen, showing Accompany Me Revealee, won first place in the junior quiz at the horse show on Saturday.
Kaylie Willks, showing Miss Dee Sockett, won first place in the grooming and conditioning class and third place in the junior quiz at the horse show on Saturday.
Lacie Teets's cake was one of the top ten cakes chosen for the cake auction.  It was auctioned off on Tuesday for $175.00.
Josh Adlam received first place honors in intermediate hog showmanship Monday.
Megan Holler's cookies, White Fruitcake Bites, were considered for a TRI-COLOR.

Megan Landry and Raney Wade won first place in the Junior Sew-Off against three other teams.  They were required to make a nine patch pillow from start to finish in two hours.
Michael Mango's rabbit got 1st runner-up at the rabbit show.
Christina Davis and Liz Wann won second place in the Senior Sew-Off against ten other teams.  They were also required to make a nine patch pillow from start to finish in two hours.
Daniel Jones placed second in the intermediate division of the whippopping contest out of thirty competitors.
Nathan Mango's rabbit got 2nd runner-up at the rabbit show.
Krsytina Thompson was awarded first place in intermediate poultry showmanship.
Kayla Holler received tenth place in the junior division for the record book she entered.  She also received a cash award of $10.00.
Kimberly Pridgen received fourth place in the junior division for the record book she entered.  She also received a cash award of $70.00.
